Named after acclaimed marine biologist and conservationist Dr. Sylvia Earle, this vessel boasts world-class environmental credentials, including a streamlined design, a low-polluting engine and the use of virtual anchoring to protect the sea floor.
Whether navigating the infamous Drake Passage or the Denmark Strait, the Sylvia Earle is equipped with the latest in nautical technology to ensure a smooth and safe passage. Expansive observation decks bring you closer to the spectacular environment, while the inviting communal areas ensure a comfortable base camp for your adventures. There are four Zodiac launching platforms to make the transition from ship to sea is smooth as possible.
130 passengers are accommodated in stylish cabins that come with ocean views and many with balconies. As well as a heated saltwater swimming pool to dip into between landings, you can enjoy a massage in the Wellness Centre or make use of the on-board gym. Excellent hearty meals are served in the sociable dining room.
