ABOUT THE ITINERARY
DESIGNED BY SPECIALISTS
Bear in mind, these are just a starting point as all holidays are customised to the specific requirements of our guests. Whether you prefer a different style of accommodation, a greater focus on a particular interest or to go to a different destination all together, every itinerary is created individually around your preferences.
MARRAKECH
Marrakech is an endlessly unfolding mystery with enchantments at every step along the way. A half day historical tour will reveal ancient landmarks like the 12th century Koutoubia Minaret, plus the huge courtyard, Saadian Tombs and sunken gardens of the 16th century El Badi Palace. You’ll be staying in the heart of the ancient medina, moments from the Royal Palace, so you’ll have boundless opportunity to wander through the tiny streets, past artisan workshops and tempting bazaars. You’ll be able to bargain for jewelry, carpets, frankincense, robes and souvenirs, as well as experiencing the bustle of the souk and the swirling life of Marrakech’s famous Jemaa el-Fnaa – reputedly the busiest square in Africa.
Stay: Three nights in a deluxe room at Villa des Orangers.
ASNI
Today you take a scenic drive into the countryside beyond Marrakech to arrive, in under two hours, at Asni. This tiny, unchanged-by-time Berber village enjoys a dramatic setting with views of the snowy peaks of the monumental Atlas Mountains and the plunging river valley to the north. You can play tennis or work out, or experience a range of adventures, from hot air ballooning to skiing. Or simply chill out in your hotel’s swimming pools, hammam and beauty salon.
Stay: Two nights in a superior room at Kasbah Tamadot.
TAROUDANT
Another fascinating road trip brings you, after four hours of sweeping scenery, to Taroudant. And along the way you travel through the mighty Tizi N’Test Pass, so make sure your camera is fully charged before you set off. You’ll be staying just outside Taroudant, amongst cool olive groves in a Berber-inspired riad.
Stay: One night in a junior suite at Riad Dar Zitoune.
AGADIR
After exploring the quaint town of Taroudant, you’ll set off for Agadir with its wonderful beach of golden sand and its lively bustle. Your hotel offers a pool, sun deck, elegant spa and beautiful gardens for relaxing; the perfect base for exploring Agadir itself; a busy mix of traditional architecture, jostling souks and great sight-seeing opportunities – a memorable snapshot of life in Morocco.
Stay: Two nights in a double room at Riad Villa Blanche.
FLY HOME
At about midday you’ll be taken to Agadir Airport for your return flight home.
